Booking an install
Our Tucson line, (520) 492-2800, is staffed Monday to Saturday from 8am to 6pm. The (877) line, (877) 994-5277, is answered 24/7.
What days and hours are Tucson installs?
Technicians work Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm, with no Sunday installs. The online booking form takes requests around the clock, and our phones are staffed during those same Monday to Saturday hours.
Can it be done the same day I call?
Same-day appointments are available in most areas around Tucson. Whether one is open for you comes down to having your windshield in stock and how full the day already is, so ask when you call and we will lay out the choices.
What information do you need for a quote?
Year, make and model at minimum; the VIN is better. A photo of the damage sent by text to (877) 350-5962 helps us confirm which glass it is.
Does someone need to be home the whole time?
No. We need a person with the keys when the technician arrives, and again at the end to hear when the car is safe to drive. The 30 to 45 minutes in between are yours.
What happens on a monsoon afternoon?
Under a carport or in a garage, the job usually goes ahead. In an open spot, we will not set glass in rain or blowing dust, so we call and you pick a new time. Morning slots are the safest bet from June 15 to September 30.
Where we can do the job
Can you work in my carport?
Please do park there. A carport is the best workspace a Tucson home has, with shade in July and a roof if a storm drifts over. Leave room to swing both front doors wide.
I live in a gated community. What do you need?
A way through the gate, either a code or our name on your guest list, plus any rule your HOA sets for contractors. Add both to the booking notes.
I rent near the university and park in a permit lot. Will that work?
Usually, if the lot allows a vendor for a short visit. A visitor space or a note from the leasing office keeps anyone from being ticketed.
My car is stuck on the side of I-10. Can you come there?
Not to a freeway shoulder; it is not a safe place to cut out a windshield. Get the car home or into a parking lot, and we will meet it there.
Paying for it
Will my Arizona policy cover the windshield?
That turns on one line of your policy. Drivers who bought the full glass option often pay $0 out of pocket for a covered windshield; drivers who skipped it face their comprehensive deductible. We look it up with you before booking, and our insurance page walks through the statute.
Can you help with the insurance claim?
Yes, we help you file your claim. The claim is opened in your name, by phone or in your insurer's app, and we stay on hand to give the part and vehicle details. Once covered work is done, the invoice goes from us straight to the insurer.
Can I skip insurance and pay myself?
Of course. Plenty of Tucson drivers do, especially with a high deductible. Ask for a self-pay quote and the figure is settled before a time goes on the calendar.
The glass and the warranty
Do you repair rock chips?
No, chip repair is not something we offer. Our work is replacing the glass itself, from the windshield to side windows, rear glass and sunroofs.
How long does the warranty last?
As long as the car is yours. Our lifetime workmanship warranty, for as long as you own the vehicle, covers how we installed it and any defect in the glass we supplied. A new strike from a gravel truck is fresh damage and falls outside it.
Which makes can you do?
Glass for 52 vehicle makes, from everyday sedans to work pickups. Tell us yours and we look up the exact part.
